Description
Southwest Independent School District seeks a qualified commercial refrigeration contractor to restore its warehouse freezer system. Work includes removing and replacing two freezer evaporator coils and one exterior condensing unit, installing independent structural supports for refrigeration equipment, and providing supplemental support for freezer and cooler ceiling systems. The contractor must also repair affected ceiling panels, insulation, piping, condensate drainage, penetrations, and incidental freezer-door entry components, and reconnect compatible electrical and control systems as needed. The contractor must provide equipment and technical specifications, describe its proposed support systems and project schedule, identify any required structural engineering and permits, and provide warranty information, assumptions, exclusions, references, and itemized pricing. Work includes pressure testing, evacuation, charging, startup, commissioning, and controlled freezer pull-down. Two non-district references are required. A mandatory site visit is required; bidders must attend one of the scheduled visits to be eligible to submit a bid. The response also requires the listed forms and certifications, including a W-9, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Out of State Certifying Statement, Pricing Schedule, Alternates form, and Form 1295 or the stated public-company exemption statement.
