Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a valve restrictor component identified as part number 21244-002 and manufactured to drawing 21244, CAGE 78062. The item will be used in a crucial shipboard system and is designated Special Emphasis SUBSAFE/Non-Level I material, requiring strict configuration control, unique serial-number marking, traceability, and compliance with applicable military, federal, and commercial specifications. The contractor must perform required inspections and testing, including non-destructive, hydrostatic, and operational testing when invoked by the drawing or maintenance standard. Required quality documentation includes certificates of compliance and testing, inspection and test records, and applicable certification data submitted through the designated electronic workflow before shipment. Welding or brazing, if required, must use approved procedures and qualification data, with Government approval before the work is performed. A documented ISO 9001-based quality system, or the specified acceptable alternate, is required and subject to Government review and source inspection. The supplies carry a one-year warranty from delivery.
