Description
The Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms, organizations, or individuals to provide ongoing professional and technical consulting services. The scope includes planning and zoning support, subdivision regulation administration and enforcement, floodplain management, staff reports for zoning and subdivision applications, assistance with zoning-code and planning-document updates, and responses to questions from member communities, residents, and developers. The selected consultant will also provide grant writing and administrative services, including Community Development Block Grant and Fair Housing program administration; assist with planning-process partners and stakeholders; prepare annual departmental budgets; assess staffing needs; and perform other assigned projects. The response must include a cover letter identifying the full team, firm training and experience, relevant planning assignments, firm background, at least three references with contact details, and a draft professional services agreement. The consultant must be able to attend Regional Planning Commission meetings on the first Tuesday of each month.
