Description
Hamilton County is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the as-needed installation and removal of snow-plowable raised pavement markers throughout Hamilton County. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, signage, and traffic-control devices; comply with Tennessee Department of Transportation specifications; and perform work during the normal workweek unless otherwise authorized. Only contractors on TDOT's approved list will be considered, and the County may divide work among multiple vendors. Bidders must provide unit pricing for single-sided white and yellow markers, removal of single-sided markers, double-sided yellow markers, two-color markers, removal of double-sided markers, minimum order quantities, and any mobilization fee. A minimum of five consecutive years of relevant experience and five recent references are required. The submission must include business and equipment information, proof of TDOT approval, a sample certificate of insurance, the completed bid forms, and the required compliance, authorization, and contract-clause documents. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, business automobile liability, and workers' compensation/employers' liability coverage.
