Description
The City of Chattanooga is soliciting sealed paper bids for the complete replacement of three fire hydrants at the Moccasin Bend Environmental Campus. The work includes furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances; replacing the hydrants and branch valves; capping existing connections; and performing all necessary related work. The contractor must complete the work without shutting off the water main by using hot taps. Bidders must be licensed and comply with the Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. Contract documents may be examined through the City's Purchasing Department and obtained for a nonrefundable $35 deposit.
