Description
Lyon County is soliciting bids for the 2026 Silver Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant Sludge Pond 2 Cleaning Project. The work includes dredging, dewatering, and disposing of approximately 165 dry tons of sludge from Sludge Pond 2, followed by hauling and disposal of the dewatered sludge at Lockwood Regional Landfill. The contractor must complete the work within 190 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The engineer’s opinion of probable project cost is $440,000. Bidding documents may be examined or obtained from the issuing office during the stated availability period. A pre-bid conference and optional site visit will provide opportunities to request information and collect sludge samples.
