Description
The Air Force seeks an accredited college or university to provide a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate of Applied Science degree pathway for 36 enlisted personnel annually. The program must include three cohorts of up to 12 students, each completing instruction within 180 academic training days, and must maintain active accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The contractor must accept specified Community College of the Air Force transfer credits and provide academic instruction, simulation laboratories, clinical rotations, student support, remediation, learning materials and laptops, graduation administration, and National Physical Therapy Examination registration and fees. Instruction must take place in a dedicated classroom separate from civilian students. The contract is structured as a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods and a possible six-month extension.
