Description
The City seeks a turnkey rental of a temperature-controlled outdoor ice rink measuring 35 by 65 feet, along with at least 175 ice skates and training equipment. The contractor must provide the materials, labor, equipment, installation, and staffing, and maintain and support the rink throughout its operating period. Installation is scheduled between November 22 and December 1, 2026, with anticipated operations from December 4, 2026, through January 3, 2027. The bid form requests separate lump-sum prices for rink rental and supplies, installation, and additional costs. The successful contractor must obtain required insurance, including general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and property coverage; the solicitation also specifies a $3 million minimum umbrella policy if that option is used.
