Description
The City of Santa Ana is establishing a pool of qualified contractors to provide on-call, emergency, repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation services through individual task orders. The six service categories are General Work; Storm Drain; Water and Sewer System; Traffic Signal and Street Lighting; Channelization; and Parks. Work may include roadway and concrete repairs, drainage infrastructure, water and sewer mains and facilities, pumps and treatment equipment, electrical and control systems, traffic signals, street lighting, signs and pavement markings, playground and sports-court surfacing, fencing, and gates. Contractors may submit for one or more categories and may be selected for multiple agreements. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis, including emergency response available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; service calls must be answered within one hour and crews must be able to arrive at the job site within eight hours of authorization. The agreement has an initial one-year term with up to four additional one-year extensions, for a maximum five-year term, although usage is not guaranteed. The solicitation requires a maximum 20-page Statement of Qualifications, a one-page signed cover letter, category and project-interest information, three public-agency references, and Attachments A through I, including certifications, subcontractor information, CARB fleet compliance, and SAM.gov UEI verification when pursuing federally funded projects. Prevailing wage, licensing, insurance, and public-works compliance requirements apply.
