Description
The U.S. Army is conducting market research for twelve Polar H10 heart rate sensors with M–XXL chest straps and two Polar Verity Sense optical heart rate sensors, identified in the notice as the modernized replacement for the legacy Polar OH1x model. The equipment will support real-time biometric telemetry for the 1st Infantry Division’s Holistic Health and Fitness program and must be the specified brand or meet the stated strict configuration requirements. Required characteristics include dual Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+ connectivity, internal session memory, ECG-based heart rate and heart-rate-variability monitoring for the chest straps, optical monitoring with flexible wearing options, water resistance, and specified battery life. The requirement also includes associated labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to install the items as indicated in the technical specification sheet.
