The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to solicit a design-build contractor to investigate existing conditions, provide architectural and engineering design services, remove and dispose of the existing pneumatic tube system and associated equipment, and procure, install, and activate a replacement system. Work is identified for designated areas of Building 110, including the Blood Draw area, Mechanical Room, Interstitial Room, Emergency Department, and Laboratory. The notice describes a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside and gives a construction magnitude of $500,000 to $1,000,000.
