Description
The City seeks an insured contractor to provide labor, equipment, and operating supplies for mowing and trimming designated parks and city-owned grounds. Work includes weekly mowing during the growing season, trimming around trees, fences, and other obstacles, litter pickup, and clearing clippings from buildings, walkways, play areas, and other specified surfaces. The contractor must meet the City's mowing-quality and scheduling requirements and is responsible for damage caused during the work. Proposals must include the completed mowing bid form with per-mowing prices by area for 2027–2029, equipment and personnel information, at least two comparable-work references completed within the past five years, proof of insurance or an insurer's coverage letter, and an authorized signature. The City requires workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and commercial automobile liability coverage. Subcontracting requires the City's prior written consent. The proposed three-year arrangement is subject to annual continuation based on satisfactory prior-year work.
