Description
Auburn University seeks bids for one scanning electron microscope for its College of Engineering. Specifications include high-vacuum resolution of 1.0 nm at 20 kV and 3.0 nm at 1.0 kV, an in-lens Schottky field-emission electron gun, an accelerating-voltage range of 0.5–30 kV, probe current from a few picoamps to 300 nA, and capacity for specimens up to 200 mm in diameter and 75 mm in height. The equipment must be available for delivery within one month after bid closing. If the microscope is used, the seller must be willing to coordinate with the manufacturer on relocation and ensure that at least a one-year warranty is available. The response must include a completed, notarized disclosure statement; bids are submitted through the Procurement and Business Services Sourcing Event Portal.
