Description
Auburn University seeks an annual service contract for preventive maintenance and repair of six listed autoclaves, sterilizers, and a steam generator. The scope includes quarterly preventive-maintenance visits, unlimited emergency repair callbacks, service parts, labor, and travel. The contractor must provide service tickets, maintain adequate parts inventory or supply sources, respond to service calls by telephone within four hours, and make an onsite visit within 36 hours when needed. If parts must be ordered, the contractor must make every effort to return equipment to working order within 72 hours. Bidders must provide a list of service personnel, three current institutional clients receiving similar services with facility-reference names and telephone numbers, and documentation of time in business performing similar work, facility size, and the number of personnel assigned to this work. The contract is for one year, with up to four annual renewals subject to acceptable service and agreement on annual pricing. A completed and notarized disclosure statement is also required with the response.
