Description
The City of Thornton is seeking qualifications and proposals from service providers to establish agreements for on-call, as-needed farm operations services. Potential work includes roofing, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, glazing, interior and exterior painting, floor coverings, pest control, irrigation meter maintenance and calibration, excavation and hauling, irrigation wells, pipelines, pump repairs, landscaping, fencing, septic services, welding, window work, cleaning, and general farmhouse and outbuilding repair and maintenance. The agreements will use task assignments and purchase orders, with no guaranteed minimum amount of work or compensation. A single task assignment may not exceed $150,000. Respondents must submit the completed Independent Contractor Agreement and exhibits, a current W-9, a certificate of insurance with additional insured endorsements, qualifications and experience information, references, key personnel and capabilities information, safety information, applicable workers' compensation experience modification data, and pricing or rate information. The agreement term is stated as commencing in 2026 and terminating December 31, 2031, unless terminated earlier.
