Description
Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC, operator of Fermilab under a U.S. Department of Energy prime contract, is soliciting a firm-fixed-price subcontract for the design, manufacture, testing, documentation, packaging, and delivery of Booster GMPS power supply girder trimming capacitors supporting the PIP-II accelerator upgrade. The requirement includes a first article quantity of 10 capacitors followed by a production quantity of 90 capacitors, with pricing submitted separately for each quantity on the provided pricing form. The capacitors must meet detailed electrical, mechanical, environmental, radiation-resistance, lifetime, labeling, testing, and packaging requirements in Technical Specification ES282509 Rev. B. Proposals must include a technical methodology, dielectric and construction details, lifetime and performance calculations, relevant experience involving at least three similar contracts completed within the last 10 years, quality assurance and testing capabilities, applicable certifications, a manufacturing and delivery schedule, firm-fixed pricing, the completed pricing form, the completed Subcontractor Annual Representations and Certifications form, and the completed PUR-466 Proposal Certifications form. A compliant small business subcontracting plan is also required when applicable for awards exceeding $750,000.
