Description
The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is requesting qualifications from construction firms to join a pre-qualified list of up to three on-call contractors for emergency and urgent repair of city-owned infrastructure in public rights-of-way. The scope includes rehabilitation, cleaning, and replacement of storm drains ranging from 8 to 84 inches; catch basins, inlet and outlet structures, energy dissipators, and related appurtenances; sewer pipelines ranging from 8 to 24 inches; excavation and engineered shoring from 4 to 30 feet; temporary pipeline bypass systems; traffic control; and restoration of sidewalks, streets, medians, signage, and related infrastructure. Work may be directed through planned task orders or in the field during emergencies. Proposers must demonstrate relevant firm and staff experience, provide at least three similar projects completed within the past three years with client contacts, submit safety records and programs, provide labor and equipment rates, and accept the solicitation and proposed Public Works Agreement conditions. The agreement is intended to run for three years, with a possible one-year extension, and has a not-to-exceed contract amount of $1,000,000. Individual tasks will be authorized separately, and performance bonds and labor and materials bonds are required when tasks are awarded.
