Description
Nassau Community College is soliciting on-call maintenance and repair services for its medium- and heavy-duty truck fleet, including dump trucks, a boom truck, and a stake-body truck. Services will be performed as needed and include labor, diagnostics, repairs, replacement parts, materials, transportation, estimates, and related documentation. Original Equipment Manufacturer parts are required unless otherwise approved, and repairs must follow manufacturer procedures and applicable safety and environmental requirements. The resulting pricing agreement will run for five years from execution, with no guaranteed minimum work. Bidders must have at least five years of relevant commercial, municipal, educational, or governmental fleet experience, maintain a repair shop within 30 driving miles of the College, provide weekday business hours, and submit an hourly labor rate and inspection fee. Five references, applicable licenses and certifications, a completed qualification statement, and the required bid form must be submitted.
