Description
The U.S. Forest Service seeks quotations for a two-season lease of two new 2027 mountain snowmobiles. Each snowmobile must meet specified minimum characteristics, including an 850 cc or larger two-stroke engine, a 153–155-inch track, electric start, reverse, and factory-installed ice scratchers. The quotation must identify the manufacturer, make, model, configuration, and any deviations, and include supporting product literature or technical data demonstrating compliance. The lease price must include delivery, a two-year manufacturer’s warranty or equivalent, warranty service, routine maintenance, replacement of a snowmobile unavailable for repair or maintenance for more than one business day, and retrieval if the Government does not purchase the snowmobiles at the end of the lease. The lease covers two seasonal operating periods, with an allowance of 5,000 miles per snowmobile. Offerors must also provide a separate optional end-of-lease purchase price, excess-mileage charges, and the requested purchase-option details. A copy of the proposed warranty coverage must accompany the quotation.
