Description
The project involves rehabilitating the Riverside Park Walking Path within the Madison County Fairgrounds. Work includes regrading and resurfacing uneven, eroded, or worn areas; repairing or replacing deteriorated path sections; and applying a new surface treatment to extend the trail’s lifespan. Work must comply with applicable state and local building codes and regulations, and laborers and mechanics must be paid in accordance with Montana Prevailing Wage Rates. The contractor and any subcontractors bidding or performing work must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond payable to Madison County for at least 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, and provide required insurance documentation. The project is expected to begin in spring 2027.
