Description
The City of Columbus is soliciting bids for the installation of three two-ton mini-split heat pump units at Fire Station 24: one each in the Day Room, Men's Locker Room, and Men's Dorm Room. The work includes supplying all labor, materials, supplies, permits, new line sets, core drilling and sealing, electrical circuits and breakers from existing panels, low-voltage wiring, drain lines, condensate pumps where needed, wall-mounted thermostats, condenser pads or secure building mounts, pressure switches, fan-cycling or low-ambient controls, condensate overflow switches, startup, testing, cleanup, and a one-year workmanship warranty. Units must be at least 14 SEER and all work must be performed during normal business hours. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage requirements. Bidders must submit electronically through Bid Express and include the required bid information, bid bond, Proposal Signature Affidavit, subcontractor information, experience and resources, deadlines and cost-control history, availability information, Bid Affidavit, and applicable surety documents. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for eligibility, and the successful contractor must provide required performance and payment bonding and insurance before contract execution.
