Description
InterMountain Education Service District is soliciting proposals for a fully managed leased lit fiber wide area network solution providing dedicated, symmetrical, point-to-point connectivity between district locations. The solution must support scalable bandwidth, path diversity and resiliency, service monitoring, and provider-supplied electronics and equipment. Required service levels include 99.99% network availability, no more than 0.5% frame or packet loss, latency of no more than 25 milliseconds, jitter of no more than 10 milliseconds, one-hour outage response, and four-hour restoration. The requested capacity is approximately 10 Gbps to 50 Gbps. The scope may include fiber construction, design and engineering, project management, permitting, conduit, handholes, splice enclosures, building entry work, restoration, labeling, and as-built documentation. Proposals must include a service description, SLA, implementation timeline, demarcation details, logical network diagram, geographic fiber pathway map, sample contract, customer references, and required pricing and certification forms. The proposal is limited to 75 pages, with attachments excluded from that limit, and must be submitted electronically in an accepted PDF, DOCX, or XLSX format through the designated portal. Providers must be registered with the Universal Service Administrative Company and possess a valid Service Provider Identification Number.
