Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, is soliciting proposals for construction of a 6,500-cubic-yard Large-Class Hopper Dredge (LCHD-ESS) to replace the aging dredge ESSAYONS. The vessel must include a diesel-electric power system and azimuthing thruster propulsion and will be used to support the Corps' missions. The procurement is under NAICS 336611, Ship Building and Repair, and is not set aside for small businesses. The contractor must deliver the vessel, components, materials, and spare parts FOB destination to U.S. Moorings at 8010 NW St. Helens Road, Portland, Oregon 97210, on the Willamette River at River Miles 6.08–6.21, within 1,675 days after award. Liquidated damages apply, and bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonds are required. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
