The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking technical services to conduct an eelgrass survey in and around the Swinomish Federal Navigation Channel near La Conner, Washington. This is a non-personnel services contract. The survey will assess the extent and abundance of eelgrass (Zostera marina) that may be impacted by planned advance maintenance dredging and a major maintenance project to repair the south entrance jetties. The USACE will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the tasks. The period of performance will be nine months from the time of award. Field survey activities must be conducted between July 1 and August 30. The USACE will award a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
