Submission Instructions
Description
The Department of the Navy is soliciting quotes for the domestic manufacture of 55-gallon monopropellant production drums. These drums must meet specific requirements outlined in drawing 7263829 Rev. NR and specification A-A-58020A, Type II, Class 4, including performance-oriented packaging requirements for UN6HA1/Y1.2/100 and UN1A2/Y1.2/100. The contractor will be responsible for manufacturing, inspecting, testing, packaging, and delivering the drums. Packaging must be in accordance with ASTM D3951, with drums palletized four per pallet, single stacked, and stretch-wrapped on 48"x48" pallets. Shipments must be on a dedicated tractor-trailer. Deliverables include the drums themselves and associated certifications such as Certification of Material, Certification of Conformance, and UN Test Report (CDRL A001). Final inspection and acceptance will be performed at NSWCIHD.
