Description
The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District seeks a PerkinElmer-authorized contractor to provide a one-year service plan for specified Environmental Laboratory analytical instruments. The scope includes annual preventive maintenance, unlimited on-site repair visits, telephone and remote technical support, software troubleshooting, labor, travel, non-consumable parts, supplies, service reports, parts-replacement documentation, annual maintenance summaries, and end-of-life recommendations. The contractor must provide prompt service, including a callback within four hours, and train MSD staff on instrument use. MSD may also purchase replacement instruments under $50,000 and consumable supplies at a discounted percentage rate. The bidder must submit manufacturer authorization confirming it is authorized to maintain and repair PerkinElmer instruments and distribute or resell PerkinElmer instruments and supplies. Covered equipment includes Optima 8300, Nexion 1000, FIMS4000, autosamplers, chillers, and associated ICP and MAS software. Services and deliveries are to be provided at specified MSD locations, including the Morris Forman WQTC. The contract is for one year from award, with up to four successive twelve-month renewals.
