Description
The City of Ankeny seeks a contractor to reconstruct NW 18th Street from a two-lane to a three-lane urban street, with turn lanes, and to reconstruct a section of NW State Street. Work includes approximately 25,500 square yards of 9-inch concrete pavement and 600 square yards of 8-inch concrete pavement, storm sewer and subdrain installation, excavation and subgrade work, medians, driveways, sidewalks, pavement markings, fiber-optic infrastructure, traffic control, and related restoration. New traffic signals are included at two intersections; the City will furnish specified signal equipment and fiber-optic cable for contractor installation. The work is staged, with stated working-day deadlines for substantial completion of the stages and final completion after the punch list. Electronic bids must be submitted through QuestCDN VirtuBid, and bidders must be on the QuestCDN Planholder List. The estimated project value is $6,920,290.60.
