Description
Harrison County School District is soliciting a contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, permits, transportation, disposal, and incidentals required to install approximately 10,000 square feet of commercial-grade artificial turf and a complete drainage system in a high school courtyard. The work includes removal and disposal of existing vegetation and unsuitable soil; excavation, grading, trenching, drainage piping, aggregate base installation and compaction; turf installation with seams, edges, anchoring, infill, and accessories; site cleanup; and restoration of damage caused by the work. Bidders must identify the proposed drainage discharge method, aggregate and compaction specifications, turf product and any substitutions, construction schedule, staffing, site-access and school-operation impacts, safety controls, warranty terms, and post-installation service process. The successful contractor must provide product data, color samples, warranty documentation, installation instructions, drainage layout, proposed construction schedule, manufacturer warranty certification, and closeout maintenance and as-built information. Comparable project experience and at least three references for similar projects completed within the last five years are required. The target construction duration is 30 calendar days after notice to proceed and material availability, weather permitting, and at least a one-year workmanship warranty is required.
