Description
The City of Bennettsville is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified restaurateurs, hospitality companies, restaurant development groups, and experienced restaurant operators to develop and operate a full-service restaurant at a recently acquired city-owned property. The desired concept includes professional table service, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a diverse menu, and the capacity to accommodate regular dining, business meetings, community gatherings, and special occasions. The selected operator is expected to demonstrate relevant restaurant experience, operational and management capacity, financial qualifications, a sustainable business model, and a preliminary approach to adapting the property for restaurant use. The respondent must also describe its proposed restaurant concept, partnership and incentive needs, anticipated building or equipment requirements, and provide at least three professional or business references where available. The City anticipates negotiating a long-term lease with an option to purchase, but lease terms, purchase terms, improvements, incentives, and funding arrangements are not guaranteed and will be negotiated later.
