Description
The United States Army is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contract for augmented food service support at the Castle Inn and Knights Lair dining facilities. The contractor must provide lead cooks and cooks to prepare regular, short-order, breakfast-bar, salad-bar, dessert, baked-goods, special, brunch, supper, midnight, and remote-feeding meals; support surge, expanded-hours, holiday, and midnight meal operations; and perform associated food handling, sanitation, production scheduling, portion control, temperature monitoring, replenishment, and kitchen organization. The requirement includes a 45-day phase-in period, a 12-month base performance period, and four one-year options, with a possible six-month extension under FAR 52.217-8. Personnel must meet specified English proficiency, food-service experience, certification, health, background-screening, installation-access, training, and food-safety requirements. The quote must include technical capability information, two completed experience questionnaires covering separate prior projects, and completed pricing for the CLIN schedule.
