Description
New Waverly Independent School District is soliciting bids for dedicated internet access and a broad range of Category Two network infrastructure. The internet-access requirement includes guaranteed, synchronous bandwidth at 3 Gbps and/or 5 Gbps, with pricing based on a three-year term, installation charges, any leased last-mile portion, and up to 12 months of month-to-month transition service. Internal-connection projects include Meraki wireless-access-point and switch license renewals for one-, three-, or five-year terms; one-, three-, and five-year firewall licenses; UPS and battery-backup equipment; approximately 1,000 cabling items; antennas and related components; Cisco and Meraki switches; and Meraki wireless access points. Installation is required for the cabling project, while the licensing, UPS, and network-expansion projects specify no installation. Vendors must bid complete projects rather than individual components, use new rather than refurbished equipment, avoid manufacturers on the FCC covered list, include the required C2 Cover Page, and participate in the E-Rate program with a valid SPIN.
