Description
Spring Branch Independent School District is soliciting proposals for a broad Category 2 network upgrade. The requirements include approximately 1,250 switches with necessary software and licenses, 5,500 wireless access points with necessary software and licenses, two routers with necessary software and licenses, antennas, connectors and related components, and approximately 30,000 feet of cabling across the listed service requests. Aruba or equivalent equipment is identified for switches, wireless access points, and related components; Juniper Networks or equivalent is identified for routers. Installation and initial configuration are required for the internal-connections equipment requests. The solicitation also includes applicable basic maintenance of internal connections for the switches, cabling, antennas and related components, wireless access points, and routers. Proposals must address the detailed specifications in RFP 17031 and be submitted through the district's electronic bidding system after supplier registration; the proposal must also be sealed and received by the stated deadline. The attached HB1295 Certificate of Interested Parties form requires the proposer to print the form, complete Section 6, sign it, and submit it.
