Description
The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority is soliciting bids for approximately 1,000 tons of clean, properly graded 3/4-inch Class II recycled aggregate base. The selected contractor must furnish, load, transport, and deliver the material to the Highway 59 Landfill, provide load tickets for each delivery, and coordinate delivery sequencing with site staff. Delivery of the initial order must be completed within 72 hours after receipt of the Notice to Proceed, with no more than five semi-trucks in use at one time. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder under a fixed-price contract. Bidders must submit a signed bid package including company information, certifications, nondebarment certification, three similar-work references, acknowledgment of the scope of work, pricing, and either requested revisions to the sample agreement or a statement accepting it. The bid must be typed in at least 11-point font, consecutively numbered, and submitted by email with the specified subject line. Insurance requirements include general liability, automobile liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation coverage.
