Description
Iola Independent School District is soliciting proposals for fully managed leased lit-fiber services. The scope includes Internet access at bandwidths from approximately 2 Gbps to 5 Gbps, with bids requested at 2, 3, 4, and 5 Gbps, plus WAN connections ranging from 1 to 2 Gbps, 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps, and 100 Mbps to 500 Mbps for connections among district facilities. The services must include installation, activation, initial configuration, maintenance, and technical support. Proposals should provide scalable bandwidth options, separate eligible and non-eligible costs, comply with applicable federal E-Rate and Texas Education Agency purchasing requirements, and include a three-year contract option with voluntary extensions. The district also requests completion of the provided Internet Access and WAN vendor-attachment spreadsheets. Special construction proposals should include installment-payment options of up to four years.
