Description
This solicitation is for the procurement of 11 replacement valves, identified by National Stock Number (NSN) 7H-4820-015672305, with Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 005. The approved source of supply is Sargent Aerospace (Cage Code 78062). The government has determined that it is uneconomical to acquire the necessary data rights or to reverse engineer the part, and therefore intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability statements. All responsible sources that respond within 45 days of publication will be considered. The government reserves the right to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received. Award will be made to an offeror, product, or manufacturer that meets qualification requirements at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The government is not using the policies in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) for this solicitation, but interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
