Description
The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) requires the planning, design, and installation of a Cat6A copper cabling infrastructure to support a local area network (LAN) and wireless access point expansion. This project will be conducted at two locations: La Jolla, California, and Santa Cruz, California. The scope of work includes pulling and routing new Cat6A plenum-rated cables, terminating cables according to T568B standards, and performing Level IIIe/IV (or higher) Permanent Link Testing with full certification reports. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the project within a 90-day period of performance. The installation will involve approximately 84 cable runs in total, with 60 in La Jolla and 24 in Santa Cruz, and must adhere to the latest EIA/TIA-568 and 569 standards and BICSI installation procedures. All installed cabling and associated components will be warranted for a minimum of one year.
