Description
Chesterfield County seeks one or more contractors to provide as-needed snow and ice removal for community homes and intermediate care homes, as well as supplemental services for county facilities and public schools. Work includes monitoring weather, pretreating surfaces, plowing or shoveling snow, and applying sand or ice-melt products to driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, ramps, steps, and walkways. Contractors must provide the required equipment, labor, and supervision and meet specified response and clearance times, including 24-hour availability for countywide assignments. Bidders may submit pricing for either or both lots and must complete the pricing schedule and confirm required response times. The contract has an initial term through October 31, 2027, with four possible one-year renewals.
