Description
Chesterfield County is soliciting sealed bids for the Powhite Bridge Bundle, a heavy highway construction project combining two construction plan sets. The work includes approximately 4,120 feet of Powhite Parkway extension, a shared-use path, reconfiguration of the Old Hundred Road and Watermill Parkway intersection, approximately 2,410 feet of Watermill Parkway improvements, and sidewalks with a connection to the shared-use path. The project also includes two 874-foot bridges over Tomahawk Creek and a 159-foot bridge on Watermill Parkway over Powhite Parkway, with approach roadways. Associated work includes clearing, grading, concrete flatwork, culverts, signals, paving, drainage and stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, signing, pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic. Bidders must be on VDOT's current pre-qualified list by the bid opening to be eligible.
