Your Town Alabama, Inc. is seeking an accounting firm to provide outsourced accounting and financial management services. The scope includes general ledger maintenance, monthly close and reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable support, fund and project accounting in QuickBooks Online, monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual reporting, cash-flow forecasting, grant tracking and compliance, and reporting for two fiscal sponsorships. The selected firm will also prepare and file Forms 1099, coordinate information for the organization's Form 990 and review the draft return, support audits if needed, maintain financial documentation, and provide financial advisory recommendations. The organization manages approximately nine programs, about ten active grants annually, two grants subject to Uniform Guidance, and roughly ten Forms 1099 per year.
