Description
The United States Air Force is planning a 100% Small Business Set-Aside multiple-award contract for design-build and design-bid-build construction services supporting military installations, launch facilities, and missile alert facilities. Orders may include renovation, repair, alteration, demolition, and construction of vertical structures and building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire suppression, and interior and exterior finishes. The proposed ordering period is five years with one two-year option period, and the estimated overall contract ceiling is $99,999,999.99. The initial seed project is a communications-facility HVAC project requiring two conceptual courses of action for backup cooling and humidification, selection and development of one option through 65% and 100% design, construction, asbestos and lead-paint testing as needed, professional engineering and architectural services, and subsequent construction. The seed project period of performance is 242 calendar days after notice to proceed. The draft scope requires site investigations, design documents, specifications, cost estimates, surveys, design reviews, construction submittals, and final as-built documentation. The draft notice states that the formal RFP is expected to be available on or about September 15, 2026, and close on or about October 27, 2026.
