Description
Hydro-Québec is soliciting proposals for Lot 2 of a renewable-energy integration project. The scope includes building work covering architecture, structural, electrical, and mechanical activities; civil work involving reinforced and prefabricated concrete foundations, cable trenches, and cable channels; electrical installation work including equipment replacement, cable trays, power cables, and grounding; and control and telecommunications work, including cable dismantling and installation. Only Hydro-Québec-qualified suppliers may submit proposals. Eligibility and compliance requirements include a valid occupational health and safety evaluation report with a score of 70% or higher, applicable Quebec construction licenses and registrations, a construction activity schedule, conflict-of-interest and solemn declarations, ISO 9001 certification in force, and certification of forestry enterprise management practices or evidence from the Quebec Standardization Bureau. Bid security is required, and performance and payment guarantees must be provided at award. The solicitation also states that the contract length may be 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, or 48 months, but does not identify the selected duration.
