Description
The U.S. Mission to Saudi Arabia, under the U.S. Department of State-NFL Sports Diplomacy Partnership, seeks one recipient for a 12-month cooperative agreement valued at $150,000. The recipient will establish a MENA flag football development pipeline, coordinate participating national teams and delegations, recruit and manage U.S. Sports Envoys such as former NFL players or elite flag football coaches, and implement a regional championship in Riyadh in March 2027. The scope also includes clinics, an official Olympic 5-on-5 round-robin tournament, LA28-related workshops, national outreach and youth programming in participating countries, follow-on monitoring, reporting, delegation and envoy travel logistics, and coordination with Saudi sports organizations, federations, U.S. Embassies, and potential NFL in-kind partners. Eligible prime applicants include nonprofits, educational institutions, public international organizations, and governmental institutions; for-profit entities may participate only as in-kind partners. Applications must include the required federal forms, a proposal of no more than 25 pages, a budget justification narrative, and specified personnel, partner, and authorization attachments.
