Description
The U.S. Army Sustainment Command is soliciting proposals from qualified Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Basic Ordering Agreement holders for comprehensive logistics support at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. The requirement covers three functional areas: materiel maintenance, installation supply and services, and transportation. Maintenance work includes equipment inspection, repair, servicing, technical inspections, tire and wheel maintenance, glass replacement, welding, lifting-equipment inspections, production control, repair-parts management, and related reporting. Supply work includes Central Issue Facility operations for organizational clothing and individual equipment, property-book and asset-management services, retail supply and packaging operations, hazardous-material control-point services, inventory accountability, and storage, issue, turn-in, and disposal activities. Transportation work includes personal-property counseling and quality-control inspections, motor-pool and government-vehicle operations, truck and driver support, freight and cargo movements, hazardous-material shipping, arrival/departure airfield control, aircraft and load-plan support, and container-yard operations. The contract includes a 60-day transition-in period, a 12-month base period, four one-year option periods, and a six-month option period under the option-to-extend-services clause, for a potential total period of five years and six months. Secret clearances are required for personnel whose duties require them.
