Description
The Office of the Auditor General of British Columbia is seeking a public accounting firm to support its risk assessment for the preparation of the province's Summary Financial Statements in accordance with Canadian Auditing Standards. The work includes obtaining an understanding of information systems and communications relevant to the financial statements and identifying judgments and risks arising from the use of information technology. The successful firm will also support professional development for Auditor General staff by explaining IT-related judgments and risks, helping staff understand those judgments, and explaining the approach to the audit work. The solicitation identifies the opportunity as GITC Audit Work for the Consolidated Revenue Fund and states that further scope and requirements are contained in the RFP.
