Description
The City of Mayflower, on behalf of the Mayflower Fire Department, is soliciting fifteen complete structural firefighting protective ensembles: 15 coats, 15 trousers, 15 pairs of boots, 15 helmets, 30 pairs of gloves, and 30 particulate-blocking hoods. Equipment must be new, current-production, independently certified to applicable NFPA 1970 requirements, available in required sizes, and include PFAS-free or no-intentionally-added-PFAS coat and trouser composites. The solicitation also requires product literature, certification records, manufacturer PFAS documentation, sizing support, delivery, warranty, repair, and service information. The City expects to purchase the ensembles through two or three orders during the contract term. Vendors must provide on-site sizing for each order, pricing for each line item, delivery timing after approved sizing, and any proposed exceptions or substitutions. Proposals are evaluated on technical suitability and certification, price, fit and sample evaluation, delivery capability, warranty and service, and references.
