Description
Fayetteville Public Works Commission is soliciting bids for 12 outdoor, three-pole, 72.5 kV vacuum circuit breakers rated at 3,150 amps and 40 kA interrupting capacity. The breakers must meet the detailed material specification, including required bushings, current transformers, vacuum monitoring, control and operating features, accessories, and an Optimizer 3 monitoring package. Equivalent products may be proposed if they meet or exceed the specifications and are compatible with the utility’s existing systems and practices; bidders proposing products not previously evaluated must provide sufficient technical documentation to demonstrate compliance. Bidders must submit pricing on the provided bid pricing form, including manufacturer and part number, lead time, unit and extended prices, tariff disclosures, and addendum acknowledgment. The bid package also requires the debarment and responsibility certification and supporting technical documentation. Exception forms are required only if proposing exceptions. The economic impact disclosure form is requested for reporting, and references are recommended but not required unless expressly requested. Delivery is to the utility warehouse, and the preferred delivery date is December 31, 2027.
