Description
Grand County is soliciting a contractor to provide, lease, install, maintain, troubleshoot, remove, and store a complete holiday light display along the Colorado River pedestrian bridge and at Lion's Park. The 2026 display must generally replicate the 2025 display with specified modifications, including lighting for seven cottonwood trees, 25 rock-wall snowflakes, approximately 1,000 handrail lights, more than 6,000 C9 bridge bulbs, and six five-foot bridge snowflakes. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, lifts, tools, transportation, installation hardware, electrical connections, temporary power equipment, timers or controls, and safety measures. The scope includes telephone troubleshooting support, prompt repair or replacement of defective leased components, installation completion by November 6, 2026, removal generally between January 5 and January 12, 2027, and storage of the leased display materials between annual installations. At least one generator must be included in the pricing if needed for operation.
