Description
This construction opportunity covers 1.5-inch milling and inlay resurfacing, asphalt paving, traffic control, tack coat, recycled asphalt concrete patching, thermoplastic roadway striping, and adjustment of manholes and water valve boxes with concrete collars. Revised Appendix C quantities cover multiple Buckhead street segments and include miscellaneous construction allowances; commercial driveways are excluded unless directed by the Engineer. Addendum #1 confirms that traffic tape may be used temporarily if it meets striping requirements, police are required at signalized intersections when necessary, the milled surface may remain exposed for no more than three days, work hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the corrected completion date is April 30, 2027. Bidders must submit the complete Bid Submittal Package, including the bid form, corporate certificate when applicable, affidavits, E-Verify documents, diversity-participation materials, lobbying certifications, debarment certifications, and bid security. The project has City of Atlanta Equal Business Opportunity goals of 25% MBE and 10% FBE. A bid bond or certified check of at least 5% of the bid is required; the successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond, a 110% payment bond, and required insurance.
