Description

Bergen Community College is soliciting proposals from qualified managed service providers to deliver comprehensive enterprise IT managed services. The scope includes technology leadership and management; network and infrastructure services; ERP and enterprise application administration; Ellucian Colleague, Self-Service, CRM Recruit, Experience, and Ethos integration support; custom development; access control and security governance; Entrinsik Informer administration and reporting; database administration; unified communications; and desktop, device, classroom, lab, asset-management, and help-desk support. The selected provider must propose two scenarios: a core scope with dedicated leadership and operational resources, and an alternative scenario in which the College may fill the CIO, Technical Director, or User Services Manager position internally. The College clarified that the positions specifically listed in the RFP are expected to work onsite during similar operational hours as College employees; subcontractors require College approval. The incumbent managed services provider is Ellucian, with eight staff members currently assigned. The College reports 27 College-employed IT staff, 1,400 average monthly help-desk tickets and calls, 13,000 students, fewer than 1,000 faculty, 1,420 staff, 300 classrooms, 44 labs, and three campus locations. The College pays for hardware, software licenses, and third-party tools. Proposals must include technical approach, assigned personnel qualifications and resumes, relevant experience, three client references, available resources, and pricing for both scenarios.
