Description
The Township of West Orange is requesting proposals for insurance broker services for its approximately 724 active employees and retirees. The selected broker will provide dedicated account management, employee and administrative support, benefits-program administration, billing assistance, carrier coordination, legislative and regulatory notifications, and secure HIPAA-compliant documentation systems. The scope includes annual benefit renewals; claims, loss-history, network, and disruption analysis; carrier marketing and rate negotiations; alternative plan designs; employee education and enrollment support; online benefits and human-resources tools; wellness programs and health fairs; and COBRA administration. The contract is for one year with two optional one-year extensions. Proposals must include firm and assigned-personnel qualifications, at least three municipal references, relevant experience, current municipal clients, a professional-liability insurance certificate, a cost proposal, required statutory certifications and disclosures, and a completed proposal package with one original and one electronic flash-drive copy.
